QR perspective experiment

March 19, 2010

If altered, QR codes could be read from wide viewing angles. Account for perspective, but.. why not?

If you took this idea further . . .

1. What other real life applications have stretched graphics.   Roads come to mind.  (but, I think QR scanning while driving is worse then txting )

2.  If on a video screen, with sensor equipment, you could automatically stretch QR codes to a perspective that is viewer centric. ( very excited about this ).  Ex. As you walk towards a store window it is wide, and as you get closer it gets thinner until you are right infront of it (normal).  Not very practical, but I like where this thought experiment went.
