Design as Relationships

January 5, 2010

(insert mental doodle here)

Sometimes, spending too much time approach design from a theoretical project/ problem solving view can be too transactional. One of the main considerations for approaching a design problem should be to consider the human dynamics of the people/ groups associated with the project.  The goal is not to not to compete on volume with metrics – the goal is to produce better, much better, solutions of which multiple people can feel they were fulfilled through collaboration.  This will set you (me) up for a better ethos approaching the next design project.
