artistic QR marks: experiment 1

First attempt at rounding out edges, and adding more dynamic colors.  Need to further understand the formula for balancing “expressiveness” with legibility for the mark itself. I think it will be interesting to perform more non symmetrical actions, such as blurs and smudges.  -pd

This show turned out great on the GW campus.  Great work, great people, great lighting.  First show I got to participate on as an alumni.

My piece is row 1, column 4, and (same piece) row 2, column 3.

Vector Art Doodle

There is so much free stock vector art. Thought I would see what I could do in 30 minutes.

I am hesitant to understand how and if grunge art can fit into someones aesthetics when its all opensourced. But then again, why should there be a cap on what someone creates or helps create.  All I know is, when you start seeing the same identical splash on 2 or more graphics, I think the intent of the original designer gets lost. Drips and blots begin to loose their unique identity.  haha.

Trance Tunnel Art Show: GWU

Helping out the GW Art Department with Exhibit Design and Promotional Materials.  Show is mid january in Washington, DC.
